Weird, the G1 wifi isn't picking up my wireless connection at home

Could it be a setting that I need to configure on my router? I doubt so, however I am not able to pick up the wireless signal at my house but I can pick up my neighbors. My signal is WPA secure, all my other laptops at home can detect the router and have connection except for the G1..

My blackberry bold picks up the connection too... what do you guys suggest?

These may seem obvious or you may have already tried them, but here's my only input.

Try turning the phone off and back on again. Try resetting the phone. Try hitting menu in the wifi settings and scanning...

hope that helps

Turn off WPA as a test and see if you can connect...

Ensure your router has current firmware if that fixes it...

If it DOESN'T fix it then try setting the router to another channel - slim chance it will fix it but short of a bad flaky router (or flaky wifi on the phone) you have very few other things to try,.

The same issue happens to me too. I have a G1 (Tmobile) - G1 picksup the wifi from my office. But in home (i use a Cisco-Linksys WRT160N-RM Wireless-N Router) my G1 does not pickup the wifi connection at all. I tried turning the phone off and then on - still no luck. I have two laptops at home - both work fine with wifi.

Please let me know what i should do to get the wifi signal.
