I am hoping that somebody can help me to find what's wrong with my mother-in-law.
For as long as I know her, 18 years, she has sleeping problems, never sleeps thru the night. In the last view years she developed the following symptoms: constant diarrhea; inflamed eyes off and on; eyes are sensitive to sun light; gets a stiff neck when cold air hit her head (air-condition in car mostly); inflamed nose (puss); infected kidneys (every second year or so).
Currently she is the hospital because she fractured her right meniscus and also developed thrombosis in that leg. For a week now she has constant fever. Besides treating the thrombosis the doctors put her on all sorts of antibiotics to treat the infection in her nose and the new infection in her right foot.
Can anybody give me a hint what can cause the infection in her nose and foot, and maybe even the symptoms she has for years?
Does it sound like an autoimmune disease? Help
