Weird Symptoms

I have what I can only describe as "spells" because my symptoms come and go. It started about eight years ago for no apparent reason. My symptoms are always the same. I wake up in the morning and feel as if I haven't slept all night, my head feels weird, I ache all over, and most of the time my stomach feels strange. I feel as if I cannot get out of bed. It's almost like having the flu, but it's not. Typically I feel better in the evening after dinner. Next morning, it starts all over again and it last... almost every time... for at least 5 to 7 days. I have had every blood tests you can imagine run. I have seen many doctors in different fields and no one has a clue what is happening to me. I can go anywhere from 4 weeks to several months feeling perfectly fine and then out of the blue, it starts all over again. My most recent bout was last week and I literally stayed in bed almost the entire week. Ironically, I have gone many months without symptoms until last week. I can see now that it's not over. If you know of anyone else that has anything like this I would greatly appreciate some input.

Thank you!!

Have you had your vitamin D and B 12 checked?

ARe you taking any other medications or supplements?

Are you eating OK?

Could you be depressed?

Quincy, I appreciate the input. I am not depressed but stressed a lot. I am on a vitamin D supplement, but supposedly my vitamin D levels were marginal and the supplement is just over the counter. Someone else mentioned B 12 so I am going to check this out. The medication that I'm on now is much different when I started the symptoms many years ago.

Thank you!

It isn't recognized as an "official" illness, but you might want to research "Adrenal Fatigue". Basically, the adrenals are really stressed causing a variety of symptoms, but not so much that you test for an adrenal disease. I just finished a book on adrenal fatigue that was very informative and gives many suggestions on ways to help get your adrenals back in order, but it doesn't look like it is easy.

Just something to think about.

Good luck finding your answer.
