My 33 year old son had his 2nd spinal fusion in October. He seems tobe doing fine and isnowoffallapin meRAB. ThankG-d. But now he is having back pain only at night. It keeps him up and he moves from room to roomtotry and get comfortable. Last week his wife toldme she found him sleepwalking and figured out that he sleepdrives too. She filmedhim. He has restless leg/arm syndrome, sleep apnea, narcolepsy, but this sleep walking is new.He had a head injury when he was 21 and it seems that there must be some residual damage from being beaten in the head with a hammer. Yesterday he fell on the floor around 6 am and was not able to be aroused. His wife called 911.He woke upabout 6 hours later and remerabers nothing. The only test that we know anything about right now is his spinaltap showed high protein in the fluid. His blood pressure is high. His body also spasms at night. What does the high protein mean in his spinalfluid? I am scaredto death that it could be MS or meningitis. Last year he was having fevers off and on and the drs. couldn't figure itout. HELP!
