Its not like a normal sore throat it feels like its just my tonsils and its NOT a normal sore throat, it doesnt burn, it feels like a stabbing or pinching pain. I have no other symptoms and it has lasted for 3 days...it really hurts and medicine doesnt seem to help. What is it?

o and it makes it waaaaay worse to swallow, food and drinks are fine tho
i kno this sounds weird but i can almost feel something at the back of my throat, be it swollen tonsils or something stuck....it hurts, and ive tried to clean my tonsils with a q-tip but it didnt reallly help.
