weird smells

Does anyone else have these weird smells? Nothing is there, because I smell it everywhere, work, home, the gym. It has been going on at least six months now, it is hard to explain the smell, it is sort of metallic, I've been reading other forums, apparently it is kinda common? Some things were saying BRAIN TUMOR?!? I hope not.... any thoughts?
 
When did it start? Can you pinpoint the areas you smell it in, or is it all over? Where is it more intense.... I would sugggest seeing an ENT to find out what is wrong. But in the mean time try to pin it down where what when.... And no, I don't think it's too common.
 
It started about six to nine months ago, it happense everywhere, sometimes after I drink alot of caffeine, other times not, it is most intense at home.
 
Is it a smell or a taste? Do you have any amalgam (metal) fillings in your teeth? It's possible that you have a cavity in one of your fillings and you're tasting the metallic filling instead of smelling it. When is the last time you went to your dentist?
