Hi everyone,

Bit concerned... I had a massive morning, out on a big 6km walk in 30 degree heat.. had to go to a few meetings, so pretty much busy organising things.. During this period, through the entire morning, I did not have a single drop of water..

I got back home, had a lot of water to drink, sat down at my computer, and all of a sudden it hit... dizziness, shaking... it felt like I was bouncing up and down on my chair but I wasn't... and then I sort've half blacked out, and felt like I was going to vomit..

I've concluded it was probably because I hadn't had any water, so I went to the kitchen, had some water (although this time when I tried to drink it, I almost vomited)... had some cheese... and some candy to get my sugar level up..

can anyone confirm this? Or explain it? I'm a bit worried..

it was probably just because you were hot and then when you had lots of water to drink it made you feel worse. if you go for a walk again take a drink with you or dont drink so much when you get home just have small sips often. the heat wouldnt have helped either. maybe keep some jellybeans or something on you in case you feel like it again. if it happens again maybe get checked out by your doctor

Water can make you feel ill if you have been incredibly hot from too much heat. You should never walk like that without drinking water before you leave or carrying it with you. It also takes time to get the sugar up so you probably needed more time. Still, I would guess that you were terribly dehydrated, and suffering from heat exposure. Although I don't know Celsius temp since I know my temps in Fahrenheit. I figure thirty is hot for you. Keep drinking water, slowly, a few sips at a time and maybe lukewarm.

It could be because you didn't drink water while you were walking and when you drank a lot when you got home it could've upset your body. Or you didn't eat, or you aren't eating healty enough. Maybe your diet is lacking some kind of nutrient.
