Hello, i wasn't sure where to post this but I was just curious about something. Ever since I was little I have a weird sensation when i wake up. It's not really a sensation but other than my eyes playing tricks on me i guess. I haven't done it in probably a year or so. Maybe less. But when I would wake up and the tv would be on or something it would appear as if what was on tv was moving in fast forward. I have anxiety issues but I'm not sure if that is it. I also had a lot of ear infections when I was little. I'm not worried about it because it only happens like four or five times a year and i can't remeraber the last time it happened. But that could just be because i don't sleep with a tv on a lot. And when i do I notice it. Sometimes worse. But it goes away once i fully wake up which is about five minutes after waking up. And it doesn't do it in the mornings only when i wake up in the middle of the night and the tv is on. It's kinda like the receptors in my eyes haven't fully awoken yet and it is sending all the images I'm viewing fast or something. Lol. It's weird and i was just curious what caused it and if anyone else has felt this. Lol

It's done it ever since I was a small child. Very young. I don't ever have headaches and like I said its nothing to worry about. I was just wondering what caused it. It doesn't do it during the day. Only when I wake up in the middle of the night. I also have really bad eye problems. I use to have to take eye therapy because my eyes were so bad. If it was serious it would have shown serious symptoms when I was young. It has done this for 11 or 12 years. Maybe longer. And I'm 19 now. And like i said i dont ever have headaches and two weeks ago the doctor said i was perfectly healthly. I believe it's my eyes or inner ear or something because he said my right eye isn't connected to my inner ear. I was just wanting a scientific explanation of it. Lol.

Well I suppose and Eye Ear Nose Throat doctor might give you a better explanation. How did the doctor decide you are perfectly healthy if you receive no MRI? In my opinion some things don't start out with headaches but may start out with some minor annoyance or nuisance like you talk about. Some things grow extremely slowly anyway taking several years in the small stage according to what I was taught.

I didn't tell the doctor about it when I went. It was just something i remerabered yesterday and was just curious what caused it. I went because I was having several cardiac anxiety symptoms and wanted to make sure it wasn't my heart or anything. Like i said I haven't done it in a very long time and I don't do it during the day. But I guess when I go back to the doctor soon I can mention it to her and see what she says. MRIs are expensive though aren't they? And I don't wanna spend all that money if it's nothing. I don't ever have headaches. Never. I maye have two headaches in a year and I have neck problems and that's what causes them. I'm never dizzy. The only history of medical problems that I've ever had is severe anxiety which I'm sure could also be causing it. Also when it happens I feel perfectly normally. The tv just seems like it's moving faster. Not really really fast but when people move they move slightly faster. But other than my eyes doing that I feel perfectly normal. No other symptoms.
