When I am walking around I often get a sensation in my 'brain' that feels like it is swooping or that I have turned fast (what I assosiate with my brain hitting the side of my head). It does this almost at random and certainly not just when I turn my head quickly.

It is also often accompnied by a slight tingle and a sort of blink where my I have the feeling as if I have missed a frame or two even though my eyes are open.

Could anyone give me any guidance as to what this could be? I am having trouble explaining it as it isn't a sensation I have come across before really.
Oy Frit, I'm a marathon runner!
:)

I THINK YOU ARE HAVING SOME PROBLEM WITH YOUR EAR.TO BE EXACT , IT COULD BE SOME THING WRONG WITH YOUR VESTIBULAR FUNCTION(MAINTAINING BALANCE)-SOME INFECTION OR EXCESS FLUID IN IT:-) OTHER POSSIBILITY IS THAT YOU COULD BE HAVING HYPOTENSION...THOSE FINDINGS HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH YOUR BRAIN MOVEMENTS! ACTUALLY YOUR BRAIN WILL NOT NOTE INSIDE THE SKULL!!! CONSULT A PHYSICIAN AND YOUR PROBLEM WILL BE SOLVED.

don't know, but things like that should be checked, could be any number of things - ears, nervous system, etc. Go and get it checked.

1) head injury ?
2) blood pressure
3) artery problems heart cholestrol levels
