One of my friends recently bought a small bag filled with tiny red beads. When she put them into water, after a while, they grew into these squishy circular balls. They dyed the water red, and if you take them out of the water for too long, they begin to crack and dry up. If you squeeze them too hard, they will explode, making a gooey, jelly like mess. Any ideas what the stuff is?
