I'm not sure which other section to put this, so this will have to do.

In the aforementioned movie, what do you call those golden nail extension thingummies that the Empress wears? You can see them in this video at 0:57 and 2:48 http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=k_tgSLOn3Zs

I think the Egyptian god in Stargate may have worn something similar too.

Sorry, I don't know how to translate that into Egyptian!

But could also be called long finger armour [click], as they're worn like a ring, rather than glued on like nail extensions.

Not that I'm any kind of expert, just been browsing with google with a couple of different possibilities.
