Weird question but how can I gain weight while training for a bike race?

I have a very fast metabolism and over the past year I have dropped about 20 pounds because of it. But its not in a good way. I am 5'4 and I used to way about 120 or so but know I am just above 100. And even now I struggle to even maintain this weight and not loose more. In my state there is a biking event called the elephant rock which is about 100 miles that I would really like to do. But I am scared to do it because if I train for it, the working out would cause me to loose more weight. I would really like to do this because since I began loosing weight my parents won't let me do anything physical ( they even took me out of PE) but as a teen I really feel like I am missing out on life sitting on my butt all day. Does anyone know any tips or diets or anything that would make it where I could train or do anything physical but maintain or even better gain weight?
