weird question about periods? (girls)?

Awwww! Welcome to womanhood, well sort of. You will learn to dislike this ritualistic thing that we women do every month. LOL. Every person is different. I have the brown discharge after my period is over. Just ask your mom she might be a lot more understanding than you think and she might flow in a similar way that you do. Also talk to her about the skipped period. In the beginning your period should be irregular but I don't think it should skip a month. Get lots of rest, eat healthy, and drink lots of water.

i am a beginner basically to periods, my mom has helped me out so much, but its kind of embarrassing to tell her face to face about every single thing that is going on..shes really open and she told me i could tell her anything, but this im not sure....okay well i started my period July 1, and didn't start again until September 1. september was like HEAVY flow of red blood because i think that was basically my first period (july was just brown discharge)...but anyway my question is, are you supposed to have a lot of discharge right before your period starts? cuz i have A LOT of it...
 
Yes it is, unless it smells gross, then it's normal. I always get it like....a week before my period. It's nothing to worry about, but if you are worried, you can always go to the doctor to get it checked out.
