when ever i take a pic of my dog shes a border collie cross kelpie she looks really sad like she has done something wrong i dont no how to make her ears go up and look happy
i feel slack doing it because she looks so sad but shes getting old (shes nearly 10) and i want some pics of her in her best years

Some dogs simply do not like the camera.
The flash can really bother their eyes, and that can make them fearful even when the flash isn't on.
Try giving her treats or holding toys above the camera.

I used to have the same problem with my lab/pit. I started to give her treats when I got the camera out and put the camera near her for starters and gave her treats. Then I started to click the camera and let her hear the sounds it made and turned it off and on, letting her get used to it. Once she was used to being around the camera I started to play games with her while the camera was on hand. Once you get her to start playing start taking pictures.
