I mean this mostly for other black women, do you try to find colors that match your skin color or do you just shop for w/e is cute?
Because my mom always taught my sister and I to wear colors that match our skin tones because she said certain shades of brown skin can make a person look even better if they wear the right colors! lo. My mom is really dark and she said her color looks really nice with white clothes or reds (I agree!), and I'm brown/caramel colored and she always tells me to buy pinks and other really colorful clothes because it makes my brown skin look even prettier. My sister too, (she's yellow) and buys colors.
Am I alone, do any other black women shop for clothes that match your skin tone??
