Weird problem with T3

Well, I installed Zlauncher the night before last, and I don't know if it has anything to do with this or not, but here is my story.

I was listening to Bill CLinton's "My Life" last night with Audible. I think I fell asleep while watching it, but when I woke up in th emorning, Audible said the book was no longer there. I loaded up Filez, and it said it was there, but if I tried to move it or delete it with filez, I got a fatal error. Then at work, my battery started dieing rapidly. Like 10% every 15 minutes, even if I turned it off.

Now when I got home, it would not turn on. And a reset would only lock it up at the Palm screen. I finally got it to hard reset, erased everything and then when I got back in, the battery level was at like 10%.

What gives?

Sounds like the battery charging circuit data got corrupted since the battery ran down to zero. Put it in the charger and do soft reset while it's receiving power from the charger. Let it charge for at lest four hours and see if the battery behaves normally. The battery circuit problem may be related to your other problems since the OS won't let you perform certain actions like deleting a file if it thinks the battery is too low.

Is this a one-time issue that I may have caused by some bug in software?

Or can I count on the battery circuit failing all the time, now?

It's usually a one-time problem. Once the charging circuit has the correct data about the state of the battery, things usually work fine. You should avoid running the battery flat though as doing this too often can cause permanent battery damage.
