Weird Popups and link misdirects on PC?

I have a HP laptop and recently I believe I got a virus on it that causes it to suddenly popup screens that try to go to a site www.xn--t-xga231v.com (which doesn't exist) and also it misdirects me when I click links on google search.

I ran both Ad-aware and my AVG scanner and removed anything that came up but the problem is still there. I then reinstalled Mozilla firefox but the problem remains...

What the heck can I do?!!?
 
No av will get 100% of any thing, use these two program, free versions.
