So there was a car chase yesterday with a stolen vehicle. They chased this man in a minivan for about 20 minutes, and he caused a car wreck and hit a pedestrian, yet they KEPT chasing him. Why do they chase them when they can follow them with the news helicopters and stuff? Also, when they finally got him out of the vehicle shortly after crashing the van, 8-9 officers surrounded him on the ground. 4 of them turned their backs almost immediately and blocked the view of all news helicopters from seeing what the other 4 officers were doing to him on the ground. They just stood there in a line, blocking ALL view. It was completely obvious what they were doing.. they weren't even assisting with the suspect at all. Any reason for this? I wanna see how they treat people - our local police have been in a lot of trouble lately - they shot a CIA agent and killed him, etc...
