It's normal since you just got it, it's just irregular.

Okayy, So last year, about Mayish, I was 13, and began my period. It was a lightish one, and I knew it was normal. Then i didnt have it for ages (around 3 months or so) Now it has been like that for ages. And its starting to get really annoying because it just suddenly Comes without me preparing. And when i do get, it is REALLy heavy and im chagning my pads at least every 2 hours. Its a nightmare

Any Ideas?
Is this normal?

I'm 14 now by the way.
 
your period is going to be irregular for about the first two years - the best thing you can do is go on birth control pills to keep it regulated

just be prepared constantly and look for signs that you're about to get it (ie: cramps, bloating, mood swings, sore breasts)
