My last normal menstrual period was July 8th. My periods are usually every 28 days and last around 3 or 4 days.
Around cd 21 I had a large glob of cm with streaks of blood. On cd 28, I had one instance of spotting. I kept getting slight cramps and swollen feet like AF was going to start, but she never came in August. A HPT when I was three weeks late was negative. It wasn't until September 7th or 8th (don't remember which) that I started spotting.
I've been bleeding for a week+, bleeding isn't really the word for it. It's a very light flow that sometimes stops altogether for part of the day then starts again, like a faucet turning on and off. It alternates between looking like older blood or fresher blood. I got a few very tiny clots when it started, but nothing like normal during my AF. No bad cramps either like I normally get.
So AF was a month late, BFN HPT, and a light AF that has lasted (so far) 5-6 days longer than normal.
I'm not on birth control and we haven't been actively trying to prevent pregnancy. Anyone have advice of what could be happening to me?
