Weird number of quarantined items. Sophos AV.?

I recently scanned someone's USB with Sophos antivirus and it came up with a virus and then said that 4920000 or so items were quarantined, yet when I went to the quarantine manager there were no items there. Recently my computer was infected with the same virus and a resulting scan said that 4920000 items were quarantined and again they were not visible in the quaratnine manager.

What's happening? And how do I solve this?
