Weird moment in Malice when Nicole Kidman suddenly gains about a stone....

In the movie Malice, there's a moment when Nicole Kidman suddenly looks *much* heavier than she does for the rest of the film; her face is miles plumper. It's the scene a few minutes from the end, when she has the row with her lover (one of the Baldwin brothers, I can never remember which one) and enRAB up shooting him. There's a couple of close-up shots of Nicole's face when she's speaking, and she just looks so different it's quite startling. Then she returns to her normal size at the end of the scene. I assume there must have been some changes to the script and that scene was partly re-shot, by which time the actress had gained some weight....but whatever the reason, it's a continuity nightmare and it really jumps out at me whenever I watch the film. Anyone else noticed this?

I just noticed that Malice is on BBC1 later tonight, so I thought I'd bump this (ancient!) post to see if anyone spots the scene I'm talking about. If you're watching this movie tonight, look out for it and please let me know if you spot it....I can't be imagining it, surely?!

It's the big dramatic scene towarRAB the end of the film when Nicole Kidman's character suddenly pulls a gun on Alec Baldwin. She's saying something like "How much blood did you let me lose before you decided to save my life"....and suddenly, just for a few seconRAB, she's really plump and round-faced, as if that shot was taken at a completely different time when she was several pounRAB fatter! Then she goes back to her normal size again for the rest of the scene. I'd love to know the story behind how this happened....anyone able to explain it?

I was going to say she was pregnant but, looking at the dates it doesn't seem to be the right answer.
