So I flashed an MM-9000 from Sprint. When you take pictures it recorRAB your GPS coordinates. Oddly this still works. I wonder how? Does the MM-9000 have built in GPS? I doubt it, its acurate to about 30 feet inside or outside.
yes. the way cdma providers are meeting e911 requirements is by building in GPS to the phones. even though the implementation is not complete on the network end of cricket, the phones still have the chips in them for gps.
