I got my period on CD35 from the previous one and then started birth control on a Sunday start (CD2 of new cycle--just going back on as my daughter is almost one). We had a lot of unprotected sex when I might have been ovulating, because I thought I was starting a period, but didn't.
I've known someone who had period-like bleeding for a few months while pregnant, so I'm scared I'm not in the clear. The period was six days long, but never got really heavy (mostly light and medium). Most of the blood was kind of an orangish color, but it was thick, even a couple small, stringy clots. Period ended on Friday and this morning (after eight days of BCP) I had light brown spotting mixed with CM. I also had some cramping yesterday and was nauseous last night and this morning, tired like my last pregnancy. Should I test just to be sure? A six day period is pretty clearly no pregnancy, even if it's light, right? I've never spotted on BC (was on it six years before baby). Anyone had this? Geez, I'm so paranoid.
