linger after being only irritated? This is the weirdest thing, and hard to describe. Has been going on for a day. If I do anything that feels uncomfortable to any part of my extremities, the sensation lingers even though the original irritation wasn't bad, and it drives me crazy! Like last night, I got something stuck between two toes. I removed it, but the feeling of having something stuck there lasted an hour or more. Then the same thing happened with the arch of my foot. I was wearing a pair of sneakers that doesn't fit well on one foot unless I turn my foot slightly one way. It's not bad, and once I take the shoe off my foot just feels happy to have it off. But today, my arch kept feeling uncomfortable, and it felt horrible. I felt a need to turn my foot into the position I guess it is when i have the shoe on. Again, lasted about an hour. Then, my hand. Not sure what I did, but my palm and space between my thumb and first finger then felt like I needed to do something to reposition it to make it stop. Seems significant that this occurring only with my hands and feet. Also strange that it started so suddenly. The only unusual thing that's happened recently is that I missed three days of a medication I've been on (Klonopin) for over five years. It was a problem with my doctor. I was on a fairly high dose, and it's a drug for anxiety that should NOT been gone off cold turkey. I feel horrible until yesterday, when I got a dose in me. But I have to go slowly back up to my old dose, or lower if it seems to be enough. I don't know if it's associated with that or not, though, because I feel very good now emotionally.
