Weird images appearing when calling or receiving calls

Hello,I own a HTC Legend, and about two or three days it started showing some weird images when calling or receiving calls. They show a white android robot eating a hotdog, near eifell tower, playing rugby etc. This would be funny enough if I didn't have to hit the back button every time I make a call, then it returns to the normal calling screen.I've scanned my phone using Lookout Antivirus but I had no hits for any malware...And the only apps i've got installed are Angry Birds (Normal And Season),Zenonia 1 & 2,Memory Booster Lite and Advanced task manager and some calculators, all from android market. This didn't happen since the froyo update, and apart that there's no other weird behaviour on my phone.

Thanks in advance for the help,Alex.

my new room mate had this happen on his mt4G. he had the phone for a couple weeks and it was fine, after i moved in he came crying to me about some pictures that would show up during and after phone calls. so i took a look at his phone and noticed that he had about 260 apps. of those about 160 were just crap apps, no useful purpose. so i uninstalled them for him. now no more photos during and after phone calls

apparently it was Scientific Calculator...but it's weird I have it on my phone for like a month or so and it just started doing it 2 or 3 days ago.Anyhow I wish I could find the pics so I can post em to you but no luck so far...thanks for the help anyways

I knew I'd seen this before: http://rabroad.com/forums/f7/annoying-images-overlaying-the-display-screensaver-htc-legend-33648/

There's a pic in that thread too.

You gotta love the permissions a freekin calculator needs too:

android.permission.PROCESS_OUTGOING_CALLS
android.permission.WAKE_LOCK
android.permission.READ_PHONE_STATE
android.permission.INTERNET
android.permission.RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED
android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE
android.permission.ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION
android.permission.ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION

I would not have installed a calculator that needs ANY of those. Or due to the fact it only has 2 stars (76% of votes are 1 star). People really need to start reading the permissions apps require. I wonder what data, other than obviously your precise location, it's sending over the internet too.

You are right...I should be more carefull next time I dl anything.Since I'm a new Android user I just didn't really look the perms cause I was "it's an official market, those stuff are taken care off".Obviously they are not*.Anyways I don't really send any messages to terrorists or anything and I really doubt that anyone would care bout my friends love issues, since the problem is solved any info stollen is quite useless.I'll just be way more carefull from now and then.

Edit:*I'm not trying to blame anyone else for my carelessness.

Yeah the Android Market isn't moderated by anyone. Google do have a "kill switch" for highly malicious or dangerous apps, but they've only used it once, and that was more of a test than anything else.
