Weird heart beat... allergy?

A few hours ago my picked me up, and went out to an early dinner at a new restaurant. After eating, when we got in the car my mum noticed that I had a splotchy rash all over my neck, so I pulled out my hydro-cortisone cream and rubbed it on. I only get rashes, so I didn't think much of it. When my mom dropped me off at home about half an hour after eating, my tummy started to cramp up so I went to the bathroom, and while I was there, I started to feel like no matter how hard I tried I could never get enough air, and my chest felt all tight, and my heart beat got all irregular and slow, and my eyes started watering. I'm allergic to grass, so my eyes water all of the time, I took some benadryl like I usually do for watery eyes, and about half an hour later, the other symptoms subsided. I don't know if that was just coincidence, or if was I having some kind of allergic reaction and that is why the benadryl helped everything. What do you think? And if it was an allergy how will I figure out what triggered it?

Thanks,

Tisha

PS> If it helps, I'm 18, female, have mild cough variant asthma (but I've never had a serious attack, just coughing fits), allergic to grass (stupid spring time) and am prone to rashes, usually caused from stress, or the consumption of that artificial dried yogurt coating they put on candy (which was not in my meel).
