I have a guy friend who goes to a different school and we were chatting on this IMish thing and he invited me to a chatroom that his new girlfriend was in. He introduced us and she seemed nice and so we chatted, all three of us, for 10 or so minutes. Then all of a sudden I get kicked from the chatroom and I thought it was a mistake so I tried to have a private conversation with him but it told me he had blocked me!
I thought he did something on accident cause it was so random, so I waited to see what would happen. Then his girlfriend starts private chatting with me and she called me a bitch and told me that he hated me and so did she. I was taken back because I couldn't remember doing anything. I asked her what I did and she said they were both so mad at me and hated me and she wasn't going to bother with me anymore. It was so weird and out of the blue!
I emailed my friend later asking him what I did wrong and apologizing. And then today he was on the IMthing again and started chatting with me. I asked if he had accepted my apology and he said yeah but he didn't know what I was apologiing for. I told him what his girlfriend had said and he was sooo confused. SHE MADE IT ALL UP. He was like "Uh... I don't hate you." I asked him why he kicked me and blocked me and he said he just wanted to talk to her alone.
Why didn't he just private chat with her? And why didn't he TELL me? He totally blew off those questions, as well as the fact that his girlfriend LIED to me and TOLD me that he HATED me. So naturally I got really mad and told him that until he gave me some answers I wasn't going to be his friend. He told me he knew I would get mad so he blocked me after he kicked me, and his girlfriend was just crazy sometimes. He did not get how mad I was, so I told him not to bother talking to me again. He called me a bitch and I logged off.
Am I overreacting? do you think their behaviour is really weird? what do you think could be up?
