I don't quite know how to describe this. But, while I was getting my hair cut yesterday everytime the hairdresser would run the comb very lightly over the top of my head I got very dizzy and this weird ripple feeling to the best that I can describe it went through my head.
It was kinda scary and unnerving, I've never had anything like this happen before. Lately I've had dizzy spells that come over me and I get really dizzy, short of breath and my heart starts pounding for a few seconds to a minute or so and they goes away. Since I've gotten up and around this morning I am a little lightheaded today.
Any ideas what is going on?

Hi, I would watch now for any kind of rash in that area as shingles can and does start like this. The scalp is not one of the most common places for it but this is where I got it. I had no idea what it was at the time and even when I got the rash I didn't go to the doc right away (being it was on the back of my head I couldn't see it) Anyway by the time I did go it was infected. Shingles is usually very painful by itself - add infection and really horrible! Also watch for cold/flu symptoms as this is also usually part of it.

hello, sorry i'm replying to this thread , but the other one was closed. i wanted to talk to you about the "alice in wonderland syndrome" i also am experiencing it!!! i have since i was a kid. I had a concussion when i was 6 and had migraines ever since which i think maybe the cause of it all. Not only do i have the "fast forward" sensation , but i also have a dream that i've been having for years that i think is happening because i'm having the fast forward thing happening while dreaming. I wake up in a panic, sweating and can barely breathe every time. Anyway, I've never met anyone else that has EVER understood what i was talking about! and when i googled it i found your comment! please reply back and let me know if any doctor has ever helped you with it. I'd appreciate it more than you know...
