Weird experience when someone passed over?

I've just read an article about death and near death experience. A few years ago I experienced something very weird when a loved one (boy cousin) was ill and in his final hours. We went to visit him in hospital the evening and I was fine although a bit tired since it was during the week and had school. He was in his final hours in hospital due to a chronic condition, but we didn't know he was going to leave us that soon in the early hours in the morning after we left. In any case, during the visit I suddenly felt dizzy and had a cold feeling around me and it seemed like the room became darker. It felt like I was about to pass out, and I kind of fell to the ground but could still mutter that I'm going to faint. I felt nauseous and the nurse quickly rushed me to the bathroom where I vomited.

This was indeed a very weird experience since I've never had any discomfort in a hospital even when I was a medical student working with blood or cadavers I never got dizzy or fainted, except once during an operation.

I always wondered why I fainted next to my cousin's bed and if it had any psychic implication as if I sensed he was about to die soon. I wonder if the experience was due to me sensing death around him? Can anyone explain if I may have sensed death?
