I have a 1977 vespa bravo and its brake light switches and horn button both DISCONNECT the line when pressed, and hold the line in constant connection when NOT pressed. When i push the horn button, the line no longer can have power sent through it, when released you may send power through it.
So, how is that supposed to make the brake light come on, does it have anything to do with a " double zener diode". I have no idea. I bought a new switch that works the normal way for the horn, but the brake light switches are special.
