Weird dream about my friend turning into a dog?

So I had a dream that me and my guy friend were going to sit on this gray bench, but he showed me to a table close by it where a bunch of other guys were sitting. Everyone was eating around the table, and then my friend turned into a black dog, like a lab but shaggier. I was petting him and he was just smiling haha. What do you think this dream means?
carrots...I should have known.
 
do you like dogs? black labs in particular? try thinking about how you feel about the dog and see if you can find any parallels with your relationship with the guy.
