weird computer prob! 10 pts best answer!?

Alright, I believe there is some problem with my computer.

Whenever I restart my computer, or turn off and turn back on, it shows up the login screen and just freezes. I have to press ctrl alt delete and click on logout and it works.

is there a virus or is something wrong? please help
 
Unfortunately there are so many different things that could cause that problem. It could be a virus, you could have one or more types of file corruptions on Windows itself, you could have a hardware problem. There's just no way to tell with that being the only symptom. You need to run diagnostics on your machine, and if you can't resolve what's going on, you might need to have a professional run tests to try to find the problem.
