I just got a honda civic 2001 2dr HX used with 49k. When test driving it I didn't find anything wrong with it, but now having it for a little longer i'm noticing things that I didn't before. The one i'm worried about is the fact that after maybe 30 minutes (i guess once it warms up) has this shaking problem when I drive after stopping. Basically this is what happens, I stop and then when I accelerate I feel a shake and hear a rumbling noise that soon goes away quickly. It feels like it comes from the back or bottom.
My friend says its the trans going from 1st to 2nd gear or its a ball bearing. But I don't think its either...hopefully. Maybe its the serpentine belt cause there is also a squealing noise at 1.5 rpm once the car is warmed up.
