Weight limit for fish tank in upstairs of house?

Hello there, i'm just wondering if you could possibly tell me in a well built upstairs of a semi detatched house, an aquarium with the capacity of 600 litres would be of no weight risk? Thankyou, x
 
At the time your house was built, the requirement was probably 700kg / sq m and 600l = 600 kg + the weight of the tank. so spread the weight accordingly.

A full bath probably exerts a weight of 300kg/sq m


The weight baring capacity will be significantly more if you are close to the wall baring the joist load, ie a load baring wall with the floorboards running Parallel to the wall.
