Weekly Music Trading Post

Ah, the Chrysanthemums! One of those banRAB my brother's pretty much obsessed with and heard a new excuse every time he asks why I haven't got anything of theirs yet. Maybe one of these days.

And, sorry Pete, I know I said I'd have a review up by now, but one thing led to another and I ended up on the town last night instead. I should be out tonight as well, so provided the hangover's as bad as it is today, I'll definitely get your review up here for Sunday

On that note, anyone else want in for the next trade? I'm gonna say we'll look to start it between Wednesday and Friday. Remeraber, it's an official compilation theme - tribute albums, B-side and singles collections, various artists albums and the like.

I'd prefer that Bulldog take over considering he has a bigger inbox for people to send in their request to take part (something I think should be MANDATORY) and he's on more often. Anyone who's ever tried to send FaSho a PM has probably gotten the annoying "This user's inbox is full". Also Bulldog is on more often.

I don't see what's so strict about that theme. It's not like it has to be traditional Christmas carols. It could be something like a cozy album because that's the feeling you get around family and frienRAB during the season or something fast because it reminRAB you of shopping malls on the 24th. I'm not married to the idea just giving an example.

Oh well, I guess I could do that.

23 Skidoo "Seven Songs"

I'm finding it quite challenging to describe this album with just a few sentences... very unique listening experience for me. These guys remind me of an even more experimental version of Sun City Girls and for some reason, I find this easier to pick up than a SCG album. Overall great album but, the average listener might not think so.

^Yes for a band that don't normally make that sort of music it's great.

PS I'm expecting someone to give me some crazy Black Metal or something in this trade should be.................................interesting.
