I know what you mean with ratings. I always feel the need to rate things out of 10 instead of 5 just to have that broader spectrum. I also love the trading post. It's not often I sit around to love making funk.

Bulldog sent me Captain Beefheart & His Magic Bands album "Doc at the Radar Station". It was pretty weird, but then again most of Captain Beefheart's stuff is. Dunno how much I'll be spinning it, but I'm happy to have it to add to my archive. Didn't do much for me, except amuse me at certain areas, and that is better than nothing.

I got Busdriver's Temporary Fever from gunnels.
This album is.... absolutely quirky. I like the tracks Imaginary Places and Driver's Manual and I think it's a solid album. Umm.. I'm not really sure what else to say. It didn't blow me away, but it was fun to listen to, and I'll definitely listen to it in the future.

I don't have much going on currently so I decided to just write it, here it is:

Olivia Ruiz - La Femme Chocolat

This is some French/Folk/Pop. I will admit at first it was a little weird to me to listen to some many songs in a language I don't speak (french), But this girl is good at what she does. It is easy listening, & catchy, albeit hard to sing along to for me haha. But it is very enjoyable. I am still trying to get past the language barrier for music I listen to on a consistent basis, but I am holding on to this for when that time comes, because I have no doubt it will. There is one song in english which was really good too.

All in all, a good solid album thats easy to listen to and enjoy. Don't sleep on this album if you like Folk at all. Good stuff!
