Weekly Music Trading Post

Alright then, I'll just put you down for the next one :)

I still haven't thought about the theme there'll be for it, but there'll definitely be one.

It all sounRAB good, though it will be weird with Bulldog's absence. Anyway,
I'll begin searching for the next album to be traded right away.

And btw Moje, how come you're not participating?

Again, I'm ashamed for being this late...

I had read Anteater

Nice review abdullah:) Too bad you didn't like his voice. I didn't think it was great but it didn't really bother me. Reminded me a bit of Bobby Gillespie.

I'll be getting in a review for yours soonish. Liking it so far

If you want. I don't really mind doing so myself, only that I'll be a bit busier these next few days with essay-type stuff, so I won't be able to get started on it for a little while. Plus I've still gotta think how it'll work, as there aren't any placeholders in this thread for an index. All I can think of is to start a fresh trade thread, which I'm kinda reluctant to do..

Anyway, I'll get everyone paired up for the trade a bit later.

Well, that's debatable. But, my intention was to give him introductions to these banRAB, not necessarily their best albums, but ones that more or less represent many sides of a band. Although I was on the fence whether to send him Neu!'s first or third, Negativland prevailed. :)

I'm glad you enjoyed them. I'll write reviews of your two albums soon, I hope, in the upcoming days. I'm having a hard time on how to write them. One has a strength in its simplicity, and the other...well, he's quite something :)

+81 sent me:

Andrew Jackson Jihad - people who can eat people are the luckiest people in the world

it was 'interesting', but definately not something i would really keep on my (8gb) ipod. but it wasn't really horrible. he almost seems generic (to himself). the lead singer has a weird comedic voice. it is kinda fun to listen to once, but anymore and it's not all that great.
i give this album a 4.53/10

I actually have that Grayarea broadcast!! I got it awhile back when I started to delve into progressive house. It's one of the only mixes I've listened to that was able to sustain my interest

Fa'Sho offered to do it a page or so ago i believe? So it looks like Pete has a couple of offers if he wants rid of it. I would have put my name down but im not gonna do well with the themes now so you may find i dont even end up participating most weeks never mind running it.

And you're right +81, i thought Pete wanted someone to help him run this thing but i read wrong, looks like he wants someone to take it over.
