Weddings and engagements in cartoons

So we had Casey Jones proposed to April O'Neil in last week's episode of TMNT, and they are now engaged. It was momentous occasion, not only because took their long-standing relationship to the next level, but because engagements and weddings (and to a lesser extent,long-term, stable romantic relationships) are so rare in American cartoons.

So, a list thread. What cartoon relationships ended with an engagement and/or a wedding?

  1. David Xanatos and Fox, Gargoyles. Got engaged, then married.
  2. Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson, Spider-Man:TAS. Annuled because MJ turned out to be a clone.
  3. Scott Summers and Jean Grey, X-Men: TAS. I don't recall the details here.
  4. Aladdin and Jasmine, Aladdin. Were engaged throughout the duration of the animated series, got married in the third movie.
Any others? Please limit yourself to American series.

-The re-marriage between Luanne and Kirk in The Simpsons either last season or Season 18
-Homer's divorce and then re-marriage to Marge since he wanted a fresh start and wanted all their friends to be there instead of their initial wedding where nobody was there
-Apu's marriage to Manjula in a Hindu wedding ceremony

The Venture Bros.
The Monarch and Dr. Girlfriend's wedding in season 2, and in the third season they adjust to married life.

W.I.T.C.H.: The Animated Series
Julian and 'The Mage's' wedding in W.I.T.C.H., and their "divorce" some years later.

As Told By Ginger: Lois Foutley got engaged to Dr. Dave in the last season, and married him in the series finale.

Hey Arnold!: In the episode/series finale "The Journal" we see the meeting, engagement and wedding of Arnold's parents Miles and Stella.

Didn't Bruce Wayne get married to (unknowingly) Poison Ivy in an episode of The New Batman Adventures? (He was also engaged to Andrea Beaumont in Mask of the Phantasm, but that was a movie, so it may not count.)

The first time they were married, it was performed by Morph disguised as a priest, (a Mr. Sinister trap) so it wasn't legit. They did get married for real near the end of the series however.

No, that was Harvey Dent before he became Two Face in the Batman:TAS episode titled "Pretty Poison", but Harvey and Ivy didn't get married. They only dated. Bruce did unknowingly marry a woman who turned out to be a living plant created by Poison Ivy in an episode of TNBA.

The central plot of the three episode series finale for “101 Dalmatians: The Series” was about Anita and Roger needing to remarried, as their original marriage was performed by a fraudulent minister and ruled legally invalid. All three episodes focused on their relationship, to some degree, and the series came to an end shortly after they got married in a scene that contained most of the characters that had been seen throughout the series. I really liked that episode; it’s been mentioned in this thread that marriages and so forth are uncommon in animation, but they’re even more uncommon in children’s animation. Therefore, it’s quite uncommon for a series finale to contain such a plot, especially a three episode series finale.

Don't have the episode title, but it was revealed that the person who married Geroge and Jane Jetson was a fraud, thus we see them having an official marriage in the episode.

Also, for all intents and purposes, Goliath and Demona were married (though the Gargoyles Term is mates).

Also in Hey Arnold!, Helga's sister was briefly engaged but the groom turned out to be a fraud. He ran out on their wedding day.

In Jimmy Neutron, Jet Fusion became engaged to Beautiful Gorgeous. She also turned out to be a fraud. Was arrested on their wedding day.

Gee, a lot of sad weddings, huh?

Didn't someone on Little Bill get married on time?

Oh, on Danny Phantom, Danny and Samantha seem to have a long-term relationship by the end of the series. Ditto for Kim & Ron from Kim Possible.
