Web Pro size (out of space on my T3!)

Hi! Maybe someone can help me. For some reason, while using my Palm T3 today, I ran out of memory space. I didn't install anything new, and still had quite a bit of space free this morning. I know that I did use WebPro to browse a few webpages, but cleared out the cache. I am not sure if there's still something in there or if it's something else. One thing I did notice is that Web Pro shows up as being over 20,000k (20MB!) large! Should it be that large?! If not, is there any way to remove it any re-install it?

I have 0 mp3s, 0 audio bits, no movies, no jpeg pics, and only about a dozen pics in the "Note Pad"

Please help me if you can!

Hi,

Have you tired clearing your cache and/or history? If you don't want the hassle of clearing it every now and then, then set the cache to clear everytime you exit the browser.

Yup! I cleared both the cache and history. That was my first guess at the problem. There were only four or five things in there anyway. Under saved pages, I had a couple. One was around 24k and the other aroun 38k. I deleted both of those. This is really weird.

Hm,

Well, if all else fails you can always delete the program and reinstall it. Then observe and see if the program will take up the same 20mb. Or is it after certain procedures before getting the huge memory hog. Eg after visiting certain pages.

Hmmm.. Where can I install Web Pro from? Is it something that's located on the Palm CD?

It sounds to me like something got stuck in the cache, and won't get out of there.

Isn't WebPro in ROM in the T3? If so, delete the huge database from RAM; it will be rebuilt by WebPro anyway (but hopefully, not so big this time). You can use FileZ or FileProg or any other file manager app to delete that database.
