Web Page Too Large

I am using a T5 and when I go to several web pages I get ?This page is too large to be displayed.? I helped a friend with a LifeDrive and noticed that they did not get the same message (I know, 4G). Is there something I can modify on the T5?

Thanks

What web broswer are you using? What are the sites that you get this message from?

A web page does have to load in RAM on a T5 whereas the LifeDrive can use the hard drive to cache a page as it loads. You can run into a situation where you run out of RAM before a complex web page can load. The only solution would be to free up more RAM.

I am using Repligo and haven't had a big problem with web pages. However the size of the page would probably be so small you can't read it...just a thought...

Yes I've had same problem.

Doesn't seem to be related to page size though - I've successfully loaded large pages (>500kb) whilst pages of around 200kb can cause Blazer to clunk to a halt with the page too large error.

One place where it regularly happens is http://www.mobileread.com if you want to try it yourself.

The only solution I've found is to use Skweezer to compress the pages...
