Write to the company and tell them just how many of us want this functionality.

Can you imagine being able to run the entire library of Palm applications on our phones? This is huge!

Wirelessly posted (Pearl: NokiaE70-2/3.0 (1.0610.05.07); SymbianOS/9.1 Series60/3.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1)

what are some good palm apps?

ive never used them before....

My concern is whether this emulator and the app within will be stable.

Symbian can barely run its own apps reliably without crashing so apps optimized for a foreign device and o/s are questionable.....

^ symbian run apps reliably, crashing happens when there are too many apps are running simultaneously and it is usually associated with not having enough memory to run the application coz it is alrady being used by the others...

any application for the other OS will only run as reliable, depends on how reliable is the emulator...

That's usually due to memory issues. I think the N95 with its vast amount of memory and a very fast processor will make those issues (for those who are having them) a thing of the past.

The emulator for WM is certified by certain Palm application developers to run reliably on the emulator. The list is on the website. This list includes developers of medical software. These people will not certify that their product runs on an emulator that doesn't work reliably as that would make them lose credibility with doctors and hospitals.

In any case, I look forward to running Epocrates and Avantgo (which runs on my N90 but will not run on my future N95) just for starters. There is a huge library of software for Palm, even though it is a dying platform. Almost every piece of medical software is supported on Palm still.
