We Need A Nickolodon channel for the *Classics*

I remember when they were new! I didn't like them, I much preferred the oldies, like Sarah Cawood and Mike McClean :o I remember some puppet-presenter guy too, I think his name was 'Bogey'?

Times where I'm at college :(

Omg I forgot about Afraid of the dark great show.

I mean cartoon network have boomerang so It would make sense for nick to offer a nick classics channel.

If you were lucky.

In our area, you got Performance instead of Paramount.

I used to watch Nick in my teenage years. Pete and Pete, Clarissa, Round The Twist, Doug, Rocko's Modern Life and Ren and Stimpy were my particular favourites.

I remember at lunch times or in the mornings or something when I used to watch Nick, callers used to ring up and pretend to make a cup of tea on the phone. I did that once! Ha....random....so random I might of dreamt it.

Watch Your Own Week(end)/Wednesday or whatever incarnation it was, was hilarious. I cannot actually recall a time when Sabrina lost. Fantastic.

Some of these shows need dvd releases. Sabrina has 5 seasons out. Sister, Sister has 2 out. Both have music replacements unfortunately. It's a real shame since music was such a big part of Sabrina. They had a music montage once or twice an episode.

Are You Afraid of the Dark? was awesome. They'd never make a show like that for kiRAB today.

So many memories :) Saved by the Bell & Alex Mack were my absolute faves. Ready or Not (though I think that was on Trouble) & Sharkey & George (the crimebusters of the sea!).

There's so many classics and enough to fill a channel they can easily start all the shows from there 1st series. I remember compng back from school at 3.30 and watching all my fave shows till 7.00 which was when nick went of air . When my little cousin watches these new shows I'm like 'you missed out on such great shows' but they dissagree there all facinated with icarly, zoey 101 ect.

I'd love a classic Nickelodeon channel! It was great between the mid to end of the 90's. After 2001 it began going downhill when they started showing 'modern' American imports and ditching the much-loved classics, and when they got rid of the presenters.

Does anyone remember Stick In Around? It was animated, about these stick people, the main characters were called Stacey and Bradley. I can't remember much else, it didn't run for long, and no one I know remembers it! I loved that show :o

I also remember getting excited seeing adverts on Nick for a new show coming soon called Hey Arnold! I must have been in year 3 at the time but I remember it like it was yesterday :D

I would love a Nickelodeon classic channel!!!

I idiolised Nick channel when growing up in the 90's. Shows such as Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Sister Sister, Kenan & Kel, Clarissa, Renford Rejects, Rugrats, Hey Arnold all take me back to the good times.

These days, Nickelodeon has gone down the pan and Disney Channel seems to be reigning supreme with the kiRAB.

They don't make kiRAB telly like they used and that's a FACT!

The real question is who remembers at like midnight, when there were no more programs and the singing cows were shot out of a cannon, and then they turn off the light?!

I tried looking on youtube but couldn't find it :(

I remember a few years ago Cartoon Network creating CN Too for the classics - Cow & Chicken, Wacky Races, Dexter's Lab etc. i thought it was brilliant, but now they've all vanished and its just full of these bad sci-fi/ action shows like Ben 10 and Justice League.

we need more channels for the classics of Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon and Fox KiRAB (or whatever its called now)!

This thread is bringing back so many good memories! I loved old school Nickelodeon shows especially Sister Sister (I practically idolised Tia and Tamera!), Rugrats and Kenan and Kel. I enjoyed the silly sketch shows too like All That, The Amanda Show, the random Goodburger sketches etc. Admittedly some stories on 'Are You Afraid Of The Dark' did freak me out a little bit when I was younger but there were some good stories on there! ;) Nowadays, the shows on Nickelodeon don't even compare. Although Drake and Josh does have its funny moments.

I even went to the London Nickelodeon studios a few times and had a few minutes of fame in the background studio audience on a couple of occasions from when I was about 7/8 years old. Good times :D. I still remember many of the presenters too like Simon Amstell, Sarah Cawood, Mike McClean, 'Moo and Yoo' etc.

I'm all for a Nickelodeon Classics channel. Some shows mentioned are being repeated here and there but it would be great if all these classics had their own channel.
