...right shock length & firmness.? The truck has a Camaro front end so that's already been lowered.
Would like to know what length shocks would provide the right amount of static compression when the truck is not running to allow for extension when the bed raises on some bumps when moving and at the same time not bottom out on a hard bump.
The shock length from point to point is now 14.5" when the truck is stopped ---- should the new shocks be 14.5", or longer or shorter than 14.5"
Also, the truck will almost always have an empty bed ---- no load; therefore what would be a good load duty shock which wouldn't be too firm or soft to give a 'car' quality ride.
Thanks for any pertinent advice.
