Woah woah woah, I didn't say it was a theory. But Satriani stole the song/riff off somebody else, and then Coldplay stole it off him.

I think Coldplay are crap, I'm just saying calling them bad because they stole something off somebody who stole it off somebody else is a bit weak. Them being dull is a better reason to dislike them.
 
the same thing can be said for thinking there's still any soul in Van Halen since Sammy Hagar left the first time.

This is one of my first posts and I don't want to ruin my reputation. But I agree, they are a disaster to the music scene. I find it pathetic that Mike Portnoy is playing with them now because "The Rev" died. I don't like Dream Theater that much either though, only a few songs from them are cool.

Heh, I don't like "Slaughter of the Soul". I think "The Red in the Sky is Ours" is the best At the Gates album. Slaughter ventured too far into conventional hard rock song structure for me. That should make clear why I dislike Dark Tranquility and In Flames as well.



Demilich aren't that obscure; considering the music they played, I think it's rather amazing they're as well known as they are. I posted this else where, but I rarely like the psychedellic/metal hybriRAB, and most of the material put out by Amorphis falls in that category. Anyways, I'd say they're as progressive/technical as Tool or Mastodon, but far more enjoyable to listen to.

It's not a matter of being "especially talented", but maintaing basic proficiency with instruments. "Do They Owe Us A Living?" sounRAB no different from a bunch of hippies beating on bongos while shouting red propaganda.
 
I guess some muso with super advance music theory knowledge could tear Crass's chops apart but so what? What matters most isn't the amount of skill a musician has but what they do with the skill they have.

Crass are an excellent band, every aspect of the music is interesting to me. The millitary style drumming, the muddy bass and probably the most wickedly awsome guitar tones of any punk band ever. I love Eve Libertine's vocals too.

Penis Envy is definitely in my top 10 punk albums of all time.
 
I don't know I guess I just don't like them and I despise them because they are the favourite band of like four of my frienRAB and they are always played infront of me.
EDIT: What do you mean taking sides anyway it's not like we are arguing.
