We Know The Beatles are Sh*t, So Tell Us Some Other Bands That Suck!

Blink 182. They have an overrated drummer and are just bad
:banghead:

Personally, the classics are best such as Zeppelin, van Halen, and so on. They just have soul in their music unlike all of that new bull****

All rap
Screamo
Slipknot
Limp biskit
Avenged sevenfold
Norweigen hardcore death metal
AND MOST OF ALL blink 182

Because DLR covered a Beach Boys song, Van Halen wasn't inspired by the Beatles?

That's asinine.

Besides, my point was that the Beatles influenced Cream who influenced VH who influenced Pantera.

Arcade Fire - :) (as in I agree!)

Radiohead - Mildly :), Mildly :( (as in I'm halfway there!)

With that in mind, I actually would say that both suck... In proportion to how much hype they're given.

I'd like to throw Best Coast into the ring. I much preferred her work with Pocahaunted; it was far more cerebral than the gimmicky lo-fi pop aping she's doing right now.

Slipknot

The worst thing to grace the metal scene. Corey's vocals sound like a pig struggling with a hemroid for his poor excuse for grunting. I used to like these guys and that was only because they were one of the first "metal" banRAB I was exposed to, but when I started going into deeper stuff these guys were nothing there vocals there "melodies" all horrible. I was bored one day and looked up the guitar tabs for some of there songs and there painfully simplistic. These are a bunch of amateures. It doesn't take 9 people to make this kind of music 4 tops.

Insane Clown Posse

Can't stand these guys. Rapping about being in a circus and throwing in a couple of dark themes to come off as "badass". It's pretty lame, the vocals are awful. I have a theory that anyone who associates themselves with a band by a verb to show there loyalty to a group or band almost always sucks. Why would anyone want to be known as a juggalo or in slipknots case a maggot. WTF!?

I'd agree with that actually, I do like How You Remind Me.

Also, I'd argue that Blink-182 are very influential, I mean think of all the new popular banRAB that are clearly influenced by them like Fall Out Boy and All Time Low.

Yeah, I personally think Korn are a decent band, I think it's unfair to constantly lump them with groups like Limp Bizkit, Disturbed, Crazy Town and what not, even if they had a huge influence on these groups and the rising popularity of the nu metal genre.

I mean, Van Halen led to hair metal, but that doesn't keep me from thinking they were awesome.

Nay I say.

Sigh... narrow-minded attitude coming from an Avenged Sevenfold fan? How can it be!? Do you have any idea the amount of effort and work that is put into each and every track? It takes an incredible amount of technical skill to work those interfaces, and an incredible amount of skill and creativity to work the mic. If all you got is a "chliche" (?) bad attitude trust me you aint gettin far at all. I'd like to see you take the mic and try to MC something, now that would be hillarious.

But there it goes again, that old clich

if you get the same reaction on every forum you visit don't you think you might want to try adjusting your own attitude so you don't keep coming across the same way?

you might not have directly said you liked LP but you clearly used them as an example vs. The Beatles and implied that you did in fact like them but haven't cared since Minutes to Midnight (how they named an album that without covering Iron Maiden is beyond me though i'm glad they didn't).

did you actually check out the Helter Skelter clip in my previous post?

do you understand the fundamental difference between taste and talent? if you keep making bold statements then skirting the followup questions you're acting like a troll regardless of whether or not you want to consider yourself as one, especially where you seem to be using your youth as validation for making the conscious choice to remain musically ignorant.

Actually, it was some list game show that was on either VH1 or MTV...it's been ages. I just remeraber he was sitting next to Rob Zorabie, and you could tell he was annoying the **** out of him. And he would sit there yapping and being all macho and Rob Zorabie was just sitting there looking at him pitifully. And that's pretty bad when Rob Zorabie can sit there and look at someone pitifully.

you sir, better back yourself up on a few of those. otherwise i see flaming, spamming, and hatred in your future. led zeppelin? the who? im sure.....

explain..

no. they were not.

i'll fess up to owning both Pornograffiti and 3 Sides to Every Story at one point in the past. they were too clean, too proficient, and far too formulaic, to ever be truly funky.

their use of the term Funk revolved directly around the fact that they (or their management) didn't have the guts to use the term Fuck. Extreme was a funky as the Jonas Brothers are metal.
