We Know The Beatles are Sh*t, So Tell Us Some Other Bands That Suck!

The Devil Wears Prada, Bring Me The Horizon, Whitechapel, etc. Most newer metalcore and deathcore groups are just awful carbon copies of each other with hot topic buying, ninja dancing, flat billed hat wearing fans. That's all really general and stereotypical, but from what I have seen it's true.

I like From Autumn to ashes and i think if your gonna diss some banRAB give us some actual solid reasons as to why they suck, in order to avoid flaming.

Deceraberunderground killed them for me, they went down a path that wasn't my cup of tea (I haven't even listened to Crash Love). Sing The Sorrow was good though, it was my introduction to the band back in 2003 and i have some great memories attached to that album. But the real great period in AFI's career was definitely the Black Sails In The Sunset/All Hallow's/The Art Of Drowning period, they were untouchable then. Their first 3 albums and early EPs have some great moments too, lots of raw energy and passion, but they hadn't quite developed their sound.

Whether he is considered to be an innovator or an original, this is another topic which I`m sure would be debated upon. I think he fits into the category of somebody that genuinely loves the blues and has just interpreted them in his own shape, as so many have done before. For the record, I think he`s pretty original.

Well funk glam metal or whatever.

I will rephrase, I don't actually like them, but they are more talented and original than the majority of their peers and Nuno Bettencourt is probably the best of all those glam metal guitarists, at least he doesn't sound like he's just phoning it in.

I don't like Cherone's vocals though and he was a terrible choice for Van Halen, we can agree on that. I mean technically yeah he's better than David Lee Roth, maybe even better than Sammy. But Van Halen weren't a technical band really.

EVH was a super original guitarist for his time but by the early 90s he had a sh*tload of imitators and the band really lost their uniqueness once they went for a generic singer like Cherone.

That's a perfectly reasonable criticism.

But you can't say a band are terrible for not being sloppy enough can you? Well I guess you can.

I have to say that by calling a band decent doesn't mean I think they are really "good", I mean that they were competent at what they did. I consider Extreme to be one of the more tolerable banRAB of the whole 80s glam metal scene. And they had a really good guitarist as far as metal wankers go.
