We have a shitzu who "talks" whines lol very voicetris why?

shes not alwayz been so vocal ... she did recently get spayed so im woundering if that has anything 2 do with her recent loudness lol she wakes me up and dances around and makes loud squeaky dog noices franticly which although cute is done in a kinda crazy shakey way like shes really freakin out over somthing? s thinking maybe this isnt a happy thing... i get up with her and see if somthings wrong or try 2 calm her down sometimes... what would cause a dog that never was so voicetris or "animated" lol to suddenly become like that? could it be bad, is she really upset? or just really really happy lol
 
Now, don't rely on just my opinion. I'm not a professional I just have a personal experience. My little shih tzu boy is the most vocal dog I've ever seen. He sits in his cage and pouts. He actually makes the HMPH! noise when he gets in trouble. He also snores and dreams. He sings, screams and howls. I'd say it's totally normal. Hope I helped.

I also have a shih tzu :) , she is quite vocal at times but has always been.Since you just got her spayed I would definitely call the vet to see if she has had an issue with the surgery. It's not normal for a usually quiet dog to become so vocal all the sudden. I saw a post in another forum with a owner with your problem.

when she started making these noises you probably gave her attention, which is what she probably wanted. she knows that if she whines and makes noises you will again get up and give her the attention that she wanted. if you dont like it you will have to ignore her when she does it. that way she will learn that making noise will not help her get what she wants. dogs learn very quick when they get rewarded, which attention is a type of reward.
