was actually broken.? Now the truck will turn over but will not catch to start,. Replace both batteries and the relay switch. Hooked machine to it and it says number one injector showing. Will the truck not start if the one injector is bad? This has been a issue since replace the fuel pump, no one can figure out why the truck will not start. Please help!!!!

1 injector shouldn't cause the engine not to start. the fuel injection timing may be off though and this would cause it not to start. Also, you do have glow plugs and that's what gets the fuel to ignite when starting the engine. Once it starts, it runs on comression only and glow plugs don't matter but it needs these to start.

I don't know if the fuel system on small diesel engines are the same or similar to large diesel engines. But in our large diesel engines, if we ran them out of fuel, the fuel pump/system had to be primed or they would not start. Remove the fuel filter and fill it with fuel - reinstall. If the engine still won't start, crack a fuel line at the injector and crank the engine a few revs to remove air from the line.
