We are winning in Iraq now that it's an election year?

Seem like I heard the same thing back in 04 ,because that was an election year too my question is just what are we winning besides the 9 trillion debt and the 4000 lives lost ,what the hell do they mean by saying we are winning In Iraq ?
 
Well of course.
Kill one person it's murder. Kill thousands and it's foreign policy.
 
the FACT is we are not winning.. the only reason they say at all that 'we are winning' or 'the surge is working' is because a the surge is only working in bagdad, not the most violent areas.. but you get fed what the elites and the media want, you hear from Mcbush 'it is safe to walk right down the middle of the road in Bagdad' then only to find out that he was guarded by 100 men and a 3 helicopters... we havent won, and we will not win..the "WAR ON TERROR" sounds good but so did the 'war on poverty' and the 'war on drugs'..

If it wasn't so tragic it would be funny. What's worse is the same people who bought the Iraq war hook line and sinker, and now know better, are buying the Bushshit all over again.
 
get used to it. even by Obama's plan - we're still in there for at least 16 months.. and likely much longer.

Once Obama's in, I can't wait to see how the liberals twist everything and claim "victory is near"
